Anamorphic Structures for ADIPEC and ADNOC: Illusion, built to the millimetre.
Live event production in Dubai at the intersection of CGI, fabrication, and film.
For ADIPEC's opening show, Tiny Big Things led the design, fabrication, and filming of three large-scale anamorphic structures: physical builds engineered to read as impossible, camera-perfect illusions from a single fixed viewpoint.
Creative production in Dubai at the intersection of CGI, industrial fabrication, and live event film, for one of the world's largest energy events.
Anamorphic builds are unforgiving. A fraction of a degree off-axis and the illusion collapses.
The challenge was to take precision 3D geometry out of the render engine and into the physical world, at a scale large enough to anchor an ADNOC-linked opening ceremony, then film it cleanly enough to read as a single seamless moment on broadcast.
Tiny Big Things handled the full pipeline: 3D design, structural translation, fabrication oversight, on-site assembly tolerance, and camera-locked capture.
Three distinct anamorphic pieces, each calibrated to the exact viewing axis of the broadcast camera. Creative production in Dubai at its most precise: making the real world behave like a render.
