Tiny Big Things produced a long-form documentary tracking the convergence of three institutions: Cinema Akil, 25 Hours Hotel, and Dubai World Trade Centre, as they came together to shape one of the most progressive urban cultural spaces in the region.

A documentary film made in Dubai that moved between architecture, programming, and the people building it — framing the project not as a venue but as a cultural proposition.

Most launch films land after the fact, summarising a finished thing. This one had to live inside the process.

The challenge was to capture a space that wasn't fully built, a tenant mix still being defined, and a cultural identity actively being negotiated — and still produce a video with the polish and structure of a completed piece.

A hybrid documentary format combining construction timelapse, beauty cinematography of the emerging architecture, and interview-driven storytelling with the founders and operators behind each partner.

Video production in Dubai that captured an idea still in motion: the architecture, the intent, and the cultural ambition, all caught at the moment of becoming.
